War Legends is a military-themed Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game and metaverse built on blockchain technology that implements Play-to-Earn (P2E) mechanics, has its own native cryptocurrency in the form of the $WW2 token, and utilizes non-fungible tokens (NFTs)

To prepare for their IDO which is happening on June 14, 2003 at 16:00 UTC, we hosted an AMA with Daniel Johnsen, Chief Creative Officer of War Legends on BinStarter Telegram Official Channel. In case you missed it, here’s a quick AMA recap.

Introduction Round

Q1. For the benefit of the audience who were not able to join our first two AMA’s, please tell us once again about yourself and the rest of the team behind War Legends, their background and expertise.

My name is Daniel Johnsen, I am the Chief Creative Officer on War Legends, I have 15 years of Game Dev experience, 23 released titles and 4+ billion installs across them.

But the dev team is led by Miguel Angel who has an astonishing 30 years of experience making games. He started when I was 3 years old haha!

But the rest of the team are also very experienced and we have a total of 80 different games released across the team.

Q2. Could you please provide an overview of the key components of War Legends? We’re interested in learning about the core functionalities and anticipated outcomes associated with War Legends.

War Legends is a free to play 4v4 Tank Moba and no NFTs are required to start playing! You can get it on and try it out right now.

One of our unique features of that we choose our setup before we go into the game.

There is currently over 1 million different setup combinations in War Legends. (More will come as we release new NFTs) You will have to Choose a Tank, Hero and 5 Abilities. The tanks come with stats such as Health, Damage, Reload Speed, Speed and Armor. The heroes come with a passive ability such as: More Damage the further your projectile travels. A protective shield being triggered when at low health. More Damage when shooting the enemy in the back. But the Hero also determines what Types of abilities you can use.

We have 3 types of Abilities. Offensive: Flamethrower and Air Strike etc. Defensive: Shields and Barriers. Utility: Repairs, Speed Boosts and Map Vision.

So you chose a Tank, Hero and 5 Abilities and this is your setup. Then you can play the game in any way you want. Close combat with a flamethrower and heavy tank. Long range with high damage and low health. Or even as a support helping your team mates.

We have many more exciting things related to War Legends, the economy, the gameplay, tournament, earning and battle passes, which I am sure we will talk more about later.

From Common 1 to Legendary 4

Upgrading the Levels cost Upgrade Kits which you will get by playing the game and when you get to level 4 you can upgrade the rarity with Dust that you have gotten from burning duplicate NFTs or NFT where you have a higher rank already.

Q4. Going to the business side, how does War Legends intend to continually fine-tune and balance its economy to maximize the earning potential and enjoyment for players as the game evolves?

I have worked on games for 15 years and the most important thing I have learned is to listen to the players. THey know more about the games than we do after 2 weeks of playing them. So we will involve them and we will tweak the game as needed.

But, War Legends is built with skill based earning, so the better you are at the game and the better you perform, the more you will be able to earn, so it makes sense to invest some time in the game now before we get all the guilds onboarded.

Q5. We’re also very interested in understanding the details of your tokenomics and the enticing benefits that investors can enjoy when they purchase your tokens. It would be great if you could provide insights into the specific utilities that your tokens offer and how they enhance the overall experience for token holders?

A will add a little extra to this to show the stability of our team and what the future holds.

Currently we are closing our Strategic and Public Rounds which combined are around $1.3mil and we only have a burn rate of $50k a month, so the team will sustain for a long time.

The project is self will make money through Season Battle Passes, Lootbox Sales, Pay to enter tournaments, ESport deals, Auction House Fees and Marketing Deals.

The $WAR token is managed like a premium game currency, this means that is used for all the great things in the game.

But we are also burning 5% of every $WAR transaction in the game as well as adding new ways to spend $WAR as we progress the project.

Q6. Can you please share some insights about your approach and plans for listing the $WAR token on exchanges? It would be great if you could shed some light on any partnerships or collaborations you have established with exchanges, as well as any specific listing criteria or timelines you are working towards.

We have partnered with GateIO and Quickswap and we will start with them and then see what else makes sense as we grow the project, as we are having talks with a lot of exchanges and are trying to find the best fit for the project.

Q7. In line with your launch, we’re also curious to know if you have any backup plans or mechanisms that can help maintain a healthy and stable market for your token. It would be valuable to understand the steps you are taking to address volatility and protect the interests of your token holders.

We have designed the lootboxes to be an anti inflation mechanic as well. Imagine you have a lootbox with 10 different NFTs in it. Then they all have 10% chance of dropped. If we add another 10 they now have 5% chance of dropping, this means that the old NFTs become more rare with time and the new ones are rare right away and push people to by boxes to try out the new Tanks, Heroes and Abilities and as these are traded on the auction house the $WAR they will help keep the value of the token.

Also the NFT floor will be high as people buy the cheapest NFTs to turn them into dust. When you combine the Lootboxes with the NFT burning and the token uses you will see a very healthy ecosystem.

Q8. Could you provide insights into the future plans for the War Legends Economy beyond the current phase?

Most definitely!

Lets start with where we are now and work our way forward.

After the mobile version we are expanding on our tournament system to make it possible for all our partners to create and manage them with ease.

Afterwards we are looking into some guild features.

In Q4 we will start implementing the Jetfighter and Battleships! This will be wild.

When they are done we can create the War Legends Metaverse. A 24/7 live WW2 Metaverse with constant $WAR! It will be a map of our planet, and guilds will be fighting for resources and territories! Defending their lands against night raids and planning alliance with other guilds. Possibly backstabbing their alliance to try and get more power! I am very very excited about this, that is our end goal.

Q1.  Hi. Are you afraid some day there will be another project with more innovative technology can replace your project ?

We are already looking into some partnerships with AI companies for customization and enemies, we are always looking at the newest tech. Thanks for the question.

Q2. Is your platform suitable for crypto beginners? Or does it only limited for professional users ?

We are doing everything we can to simplify the web3 experience for new users. That is why you don't need NFTs or even at wallet to start earning in War Legends!

Q4. I read that the game is a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game with NFTs elements. Will it be possible to play the game on MacBook and iOS devices?
We are currently working on the Mobile version and it will come in 6 weeks or so.

Q5. Do you have a AUDIT certificates?

Our Parent Company Playchain has a lot of experience handling Web3 security with their other projects and gets everything audited before it goes live.
